A note about shipping. Shipping is free for orders over $350.00 within the Continental United States. For Alaska, Hawaii and overseas orders, your shipping cost is visible as you check out and before you pay. This translates into free shipping for all wedding gowns (except some destination and consignment gowns) and free shipping for three or more bridesmaid dresses. Whenever possible place bridesmaid orders all at once to insure your lowest cost. The most you pay is $15.00 for an order under $150.00.
It is easy to see the cost of your order. Just place your dresses in your basket and go through the checkout process. You can see the total cost including shipping and taxes before you submit the order and charge your card.
Some e-commerce sites only place orders once monthly. They do this to save money on shipping. Consequently, their shipping time can be three or four weeks longer than TheCurvyBride. At TheCurvyBride, your order is placed with the manufacturer within one day of your on-line order with us. Your order confirmation from the manufacturer is sent to you within 5 business days of your order or your money can be refunded - we promise.
Manufacturers set the suggested retail price for our wedding gowns. They want to protect the brand name and brand value. They have a legal right to do that and can terminate our dealership if we sell below the suggested retail price. So you will not find our gowns at a discounted price.
However, you can still save a significant amount of money shopping at our store on-line. Most of our gowns come with a store credit. You can use that credit to buy bridesmaid dresses, veils, tiaras and other accessories. Plus, you save on taxes (outside of Texas) and shipping. It is common for brides to save hundreds of dollars by taking advantage of the in-store credit.
